Chelsea is one of the biggest football clubs in the world. Its passionate fans are spread all across the globe just like Man U and Arsenal.
I’m just wondering where do you Chelsea fans see your team ending up this season.
Other FC fans are also welcome to comment.

London is hosting the 2012 Olympics. Its a great boost for a city already on its way to a better future. Few days ago the 2012 Olympic logo was released to the British public. Response … I wouldn’t say shocking but It sure takes a few moments to understand it. It a bit modern-ish, 80-ish but before you decide to love or hate it, mind you that until you’ve seen it animated, you cant decide fully its fate. I’m personally OK with it but don’t like the promo video and colours used in it.Some facts about the logo. It cost £400,000 ($800,000) to design. Its been approved by the IOC. Is expected to help raise £2 Billion for the London Olympic committee through sponsorships and merchandise sales. Opposition towards the logo can be judged by the response to an online poll. 30,000 people signed, registering their dislike for the logo. Big number, I know. Another big blow for the logo was its use in the above video. It was reported that the flashing colours had caused epileptic seizures.
The debate is on and the fate of the logo is to be decided in the coming weeks. What do you say about this. The 2008 Beijing Olympics Logo and the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics were also criticised. Should this logo be changed or is it the beginning of a new era for Olympic Logo design. Would love to hear from you folks.

London Underground or the Tube, as we call it, is a mini sampling of what London and Londoners are all about. Unlike many other cities..I havent personally been to many … the journey on the Tube is very quiet here. A few people on the train or jammed packed, its always very quiet. People busy reading their books, listening to their iPods, playing their DS or PSP, staring onto the darkness of the tunnel or simply dozing off.
I love these portable consoles DS and PSP. I wont go into the never ending war of which is better. Interesting thing I saw which made me write this is…Big city bankers, Corporate heads, grown up men of power and money…bashing away on their Sony PSP playing Pro Evo or Mario Brothers or Brain Training on their Nintendo DS. From a distance you can see their inner child come out and play like they never stopped. As soon as their journey ends they transform back to their normal and sometimes boring selves.
I Love the Nintendo DS though, If you wanted to know what Aliens in London play on.

Went to Ikea in London today. Croydon, where one of its branches is based with its twin tall chimneys visible from a mile away. I love to go to Ikea. Not just for the good quality stuff they do but also watch the people who come there to shop. Single people buying stuff for their bachelor pads. Young couples for their love nests. Expecting mothers for their upcoming family. Young mothers for their growing up family. Men looking for office furniture. Builders buying in bulk. People testing their beds and pillows, the tired sitting on the leather sofas to rest. Its a really good place to observe people doing things you would normally not see doing anywhere else. The whole experience is just great until….the till comes up and all the small things you thought would come in handy to organise your life and decorate your home make the total go over 50-100 pounds !!! ….
Anyways, the best part of the whole experience is seeing people in the car park trying to load the monstrous amount of furniture they bought , fit into a car made for 2 or 4 people. Men, women, children… all pushing, sliding, lifting, pulling, opening closing things to somehow manage to fit it all in. After a tough struggle they succeed but then the passengers inside that car look like the hunchback of notre dame. All twisted and turned, barely able to drive the car. Funny what Ikea can do to you…
Last weekend we Brits saw the FA Cup finals. Held at the new Wembley Stadium, the match was intense ..or whatever you thought of it .. Chelsea won…yeah !!! I started supporting Chelsea a year ago for 3 reasons…
1. They are from London as am I.
2. They were winning a lot so thought should support them
3. Got a real nice and big Chelsea Mug for me tea times.
4. I know the above 3 reasons are pretty lame…but hey what do you expect from an alien !!
But heres the burning question which I ask all my readers … As I saw Chelsea fans celebrate and I prepared to go for it too…my work mates and friends started saying, and I quote..” Chelsea supporters are chavs, Chelsea supporters are Racist mostly !” What the ….I thought a fan is one who loves his game and his team..but why is this being said…was it jealousy from opposing club fans and/or Man U fans ??? Is there any reality in this …Can anyone explain this ..I’m not a racist …I love the club still…Please help me ..I wait for the football Gods to answer…

London is a mega city. Its a melting pot of cultures from all over the world. Yes, there really is a community for every country you can remember. There are Africans, Asians, Americans, Europeans and people from Down Under. So many interesting cultures, its just like a big pot. Take food for instance.. There are restaurants for anything you’d like to eat, Chinese, Indian, European, Caribbean…whatever you want ..its there. The best bit is that even being so diverse, all these people share common interests like music, sports, work etc..
Lovely Place London. If you want to learn about the people of the world…. Come to London. You will wonder at the beauty of the Creators work.
Just thought I’d write this as its is my feeling about London..a great city.

Alien comes to live in London. Finds the city and its people fascinating. Decides to write a blog for other aliens around the world to see.
